Interventional Cardiology Fellows are invited to this educational program focused on fundamentals of Interventional Cardiology and both basic and complex coronary interventions, using a case-based teaching method, live-case transmissions, and hands-on modelling workshops with Industry. Fellows will enjoy a very interactive educational dialogue with an outstanding faculty dedicated to dynamic understanding of both the art and science
of Interventional Cardiology.
The key topics covered will include the following:
- Review and discuss Interventional Cardiology fundamentals of PCI including access; pharmacology for Interventions; and PCI hardware and devices
- Develop strategies for optimal PCI from simple to complex lesion subset including physiologic evaluation and intracoronary imaging
- Identify and manage complications and emergency situations in the Cath Lab
Scholarship includes:
- Hotel accommodations at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale at Gainey Ranch for the nights of March 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd
- Round-trip domestic coach airline ticket will be reimbursed
- Attendance at the SIF General Sessions is required and Full SIF Registration Fees are waived!
NOTE: This program is intended to prepare Final Year Cardiology Fellows for Interventional practice. Space is limited and acceptance will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.
